The Faculty of Science consists of 6 departments, 5 schools, 11 research institutes, over 1.300 employees and more than 6.500 students.

The people who work at our faculty come from all over the world. In many cases, they have lived in different countries and worked with people from all cultural backgrounds. With 65 nationalities in our staff, we offer a warm welcome to new colleagues from all over the world. We will be happy to inform you about living in the Netherlands and help you prepare for your stay. If you have a family, we will go out of our way to make your partner (and/or) children feel welcome as well, by assisting in job hunting and providing economic assistance with childcare and/or schooling.
