About Dongmei
D. Deng (ACTA) Associate professor of Preventive Dentistry at Academic Centre for Dentistry Amsterdam (ACTA). She has an extensive track record in biofilm control and host-microbe interaction and has published more than 90 peer-reviewed articles. She has supervised 10 PhD students and more than 30 Master students. She also has a broad international collaborations and has hosted and supervised guest PhD students/researchers from various countries, including China, Brazil, Germany and Italy.
About ACTA
ACTA is the partnership of the faculties of dentistry of the University of Amsterdam and VU Amsterdam. The Foundation for Special Dentistry and the Oral Health Education at InHolland University of Applied Sciences also use the building. Every day 300 patients are treated here, there are more than 900 students and more than 500 employees. ACTA has 4 departments which consist of several sections.
