I am looking for motivated students with an excellent academic record. My team operates a world-class research process that focusing not only on getting award-level results, but also on developing young talent into outstanding independent researchers. Our research interests are in massivizing computer systems, that is, making computer systems combine desirable properties such as elasticity, performance, and availability, yet maintain their ability to operate efficiently in controlled ecosystems. Topics include efficient, sustainable cloud computing and big data, with applications in big science, Industry 4.0, big business, online gaming, and massivized education.
