Nico Roos is an associate professor at the department of Data-Science and Knowledge Engineering (DKE) of the Faculty of Science and Engineering (FSE) at Maastricht University (UM).
His Research focusses on Artificial Intelligence, specifically the area of Knowledge Representation and Reasoning. Nico Roos has also made contribution in the areas of Robotics, Computer Vision and Reinforcement Learning. Nico Roos is a co-founder of the research theme Explainable and Reliable AI (ERAI) at Maastricht University.
